i am a method comedian preparing for a role in a film
and for the way i've been treating them i hope my friends can forgive me
the way that i can't forgive me for how i treat them like shit
i am a method comedian discarded artist hard-up for work
i'm sorry i hurt your feelings with what i did with my words
guess when the truth of it hurts me i just sing with a smirk
i am a method comedian so despite the reputation i've built
i hope you still can believe me when i say that i've been praying for this
the petals pressed in your fist
the sacred wounds in my wrists
the shade you've painted your lips
i am a method comedian
i hope my friends can forgive me

Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
